Branding, Communications, and Marketing

Web Communications and DesignWorks work together under the VP of Communications and Marketing Strategy to ensure that all public-facing materials representing the college adhere to brand and editorial guidelines. We are here to make your programs, classes, and stories look good. 

MCAD’s Communications team can help you with the following projects: 

ADVERTISING AND INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS (internal or external, print or digital) 

If you don’t know where to start: email communications@mcad.edu to talk about your objectives and create a plan.

If you are in need of a specific asset(s) (poster, print ad, digital ad, catalog, etc.): complete the project request form (process and example timelines can be found here). 

EMAIL MARKETING

Request placement in MCAD's Community Newsletter or a dedicated email campaign: complete the project request form.

MEDIA RELATIONS

If a reporter contacts you about a story: include communications@mcad.edu in the correspondance. It is college policy that the Communications Office has managing responsibility for all media relations.

If you have a story that you think warrants a press release: contact communications@mcad.edu

PHOTOGRAPHY

DesignWorks student photographers aim to be at all evergreen institutional events.

POSTERS

All official campus posters should follow the Editorial Style Guide and use the poster templates provided via the Brand Resources page. 

XCOMM

XCOMM is an interdepartmental group responsible for the creation and circulation of college-wide communications to MCAD's external audiences. XCOMM holds weekly meetings and regularly invites additional members of MCAD's community to join in order to discover new ways to maximize the group's resources.
